Donna read and submitted the June 27, 2023 minutes for approval; Larry seconded. Motion carried.
Old Business Items:
Update on August Safety Course – well attended course on August 12, 2023
Adding the Petro gas station in Meductic as a vendor for our club – still pending
Upcoming November Executive Elections – Nomination Committee consists of Scott Edwards and Donna Carson
Executive meeting pending to discuss Chase the Ace partnership – Executive meeting to be held in September to make decision
Treasurer Report: Linda McHatten
Linda moved and seconded by Donnie Atherton to approve the treasurer report on the
Savings and Chequing. Motion carried.
Vendor update:
Offering e-transfer payments. Investigation and executive will discuss at Executive meeting September.
Valley Chain Saw will continue to sell our club passes through to 2024 but not sure going forward. They no longer sell products.
2024 passes will be available to sell the first of October. Trail pass rate is the same.
Trail Pass Update: 600+

Committee Report:
FUN FALL RALLY – Wade McLellan reporting
Committee met earlier this evening and set October 14th
Invitees will be club membership and guests
Advertising will only be club FaceBook
Starting point will be in the field across from Eagles Nest J& TPower Sports
Registration will be between 8:00am and 10:00 am
Registration fee $10.00
Attendees to bring their own lunch
50/50
Trails will be marked prior to event day
Initial intent is to support family at Christmas time with funds raised from registration and 50/50 funds (still in discussion)
Trail Report: Brian McHatten
John advised that the options associated costs for the long-term solution for new section behind Luke Flemming’s will come in late fall. Once ground is frozen, John will meet with contractor to scope out the potential development.
Culvert replacement for the Hodgen Road trail has been approved from the Gas Tax funding and hope to have completed by end of September.
Woodstock to Centreville trail is scheduled to be completed by end of September.
Norm Purvis from the snowmobile club is working away at cutting back and cleaning trails used by both clubs. He is moving along quickly and is certainly under budget of $5,000.
Brian will check into other funding options to finish up culvert replacements identified by DNR.
Gravel will be spread in the culvert area on Hodgson Road once the trail has been trimmed so contractor trucks can get through.

August 24th email from Federation office to ensure club members installing new signage on managed to adhere to the recent guidelines

Debec Community Day Parade – September 9, 2023. Debec committee has extended an invitation to our club to participate. Donna will advise the DD committee that there maybe some participation. If anyone wants to attend, just show up at the old Debec School by 10:30 for line up. Linda will post to other members on FaceBook.
Bob Stokes commended club in supporting various organizations with financial donations: Debec, Benton and Pembroke Rec Councils; Food Bank.
