ATV CLUB 50 MONTHLY MEETING Minutes

November 25 ,2025

Call To Order by Dwayne Atherton

Quorum Requirements  have been met with 21 members and 3 guests present

Patty read and submitted the minutes from the October 29th meeting.  Motion was made to accept the minutes as read.  Seconded by Scott Edwards

Old Business:

Wade provided an update on the McAdam Train station run.  We had 55 bikes and approximately 125 attend.

Treasurer Report:  was provided by Wade McLellan. Wade made a motion to accept the report as read.  Motion was seconded by Donna Carson

Patty indicated that no trail pass sales report will be given now until spring when vendor collections begin.

Facebook Update: Linda McHatten provide an update for our Facebook page with current membership at 1552

Kendall provided a trail report as follows:

Trail 5000- nothing to report

Trail 5001- Still waiting on AAGON with a price to grade from town to Red Bridge. TIFF application has been submitted for grading, ditching, bushing, Woodstock to Centreville

Trail 5002- TIF application submitted for bushing, trail repairs and signage. Sent request for update on HUP application.  Will investigate renewing application.

Trail 5003- no word on service road status if public or private.

Trail 5004- nothing to report

Trail 23-South of Cosman Rd, the beavers have been working to dam culverts. Members of executive have been clearing the culverts regularly for the past 2 weeks. Leigh Williams has been contact to take care of the issue.  He also replaced some missing screens at a cost of $10 each.

A reminder that our land use agreement for FRL allows us to use the trails until Dec 15th at which time they get turned over to the snowmobile club. Do  not run those trails after that date.

Anyone interested in running winter trails should reach out to Kendal.  Reminder that you will require a groomed trail pass.

Safety equipment has been purchased from Carquest for use by volunteers when working on trail maintenance.

We are still looking for volunteers for a trail planning committee.

 

New Business:

Bob Stokes provided us with an update from the Regional meeting held Oct 29th.  Bob Randall will once again serve as a Regional Director, he won his seat by acclimation.  Bob touched on a few highlights of the meeting.  He also let us know that there has been no movement on the agreement with the State of Main for cross border access. Meetings are continuing with all parties for access on trails to promote tourism.

Elections were held for the following positions: President, Vice President, Treasurer and 3 Directors.

Results as follows:

President – Don Calhoun

Vice President – Scott Edwards

Treasurer – Wade McLellan

Directors – Larry Dyer, Brian McHatten, Dale Foster.

Patty presented Dwayne Atterton will a gift of appreciation from the club for all his efforts in the role as President.
