Patty submitted our Trail permit sales report with a total of 494 permits sold to date.

Facebook Update: was provide by Brian McHatten in Linda’s absence.  We currently have 1515 members on our Facebook page

Trail report was submitted by Kendal McLean as follows:

Kendal let everyone know that no maintenance on the trails will be completed until the fire index drops and it is safe to do so.

Trail 5000- Kendal is seeking volunteers to brush cut the area around the Blacks Rest Area to allow for better parking and access.

Trail 5001- Gave the go ahead to Tim Dickinson to fill the big holes between Red Bridge Rd and the Twin Bridges.  The DNR closed the trail between Red Bridge and McBride Rd to remove the old culvert and bridge and replace with a new culvert.  Once trail maintenance resumes there is another culvert replacement in Lindsay.

Trail 5002- The snowmobile club will contract Justin Wort to ditch and gravel the area across from the firehall. The cost will be $1,500 and we will split this with the Trailmakers.

The trail closed sign is still missing from McBride Rd.  Cummings will check with their crew as we believe they removed it.

John Reardon property on Dugan Road.  Justin Wort repaired the damage from our June rally.  He replaced gravel and installed a drainage pipe.  Unfortunately, the executive feels the homeowner took advantage of our club’s good will and had the contractor do more than what was agreed upon. Moving forward we will determine better guidelines when these issues arise.

We would like to form a trail planning committee to address future trail expansions, current trail improvements, points of interest, etc.  If anyone is interested, please reach out to Kendal.

New Business:

The Dave’s Sports sponsored rally held on July 12th was a successful rally.  The rally was well attended.  We would like to thank Dave’s Sports for all their support as well as the Woodstock Trailmakers for use of their parking lot.

We have an upcoming election to fill the role of Vice President.  If you would be interested in running for this role please speak to anyone of the executive.   Nominations will be open until the night of the election.

The election will be held at our November meeting.

Dwayne and Scott went to Dave’s Sports and cooked them a BBQ lunch as a thank you for all their support during the

     SXS raffle and our rally.

Dwayne asked that if anyone was interested in organizing a Fall Rally to reach out to any executive member.

Wade mentioned that he is hoping to organize a run to McAdam to see the Christmas lights.
