Call To Order: Dwayne Atherton President
Quorum Met: 3 Executive; 4 Directors plus10 members

Patty read and submitted the April 29, 2025 minutes for approval; Wayne seconded. Motion carried.
Old Business Items:
Debec Rally- We will have building access on Friday night to set up and prepare.
The Rec council will have members onsite for the duration of the rally to allow access for participants. The building will close at 5pm. We need to remind everyone of this during registration. This year the door prizes will be distributed at the Benton Park during the BBQ. We will be selling tickets on the firepit and the SXS during the registration.
Street Access– The town has us on hold waiting the outcome of the 3rd party consultant report
Northern Carleton Mtg– Kendal provided an update explaining the purpose of the meeting and hopeful outcome.
Treasurer Report– Wade provided us with a treasurer’s report of both the savings and chequing accounts.
Wade made a motion to accept the report as submitted, seconded by Linda. Motion carried
Trail Pass Report – Patty provided us with a trail pass report. We currently have a total of 284 trail passes sold.
Patty made a motion to accept the report as submitted. Motion seconded by Scott. Motion carried.
Facebook Report– Linda gave us an update on members on our Facebook account. We currently have 1477 members.
Trail Report– Kendall provided a trail report. Summary as follows:
5000– inspected with signs installed. Need a sign on M&H to mark our trail
5001 – new signs installed at Phillips Dr. no more issues of stolen signs
5002 – ongoing beaver issues. Culvert removed in Debec across from Firehall. Spoke with the property owner working on a resolution. Still waiting on HUP approval
5003– not yet marked as open on QuadNB app. Requires signage and inspection
5004 – no report
23 – some new signs installed. Spoke with band councillor and they are interested in changing some stop signs to MicMac language. They have no issue with ATV traffic but asked we respect the 30 KM/HR speed limit. They are also interested in signs indicating that you entering a 1st Nation Land.
Gradually adding more signs to better mark our trail system. To date we haven’t experienced any more sign thieves. 5th wheel grease seems to be doing the trick.
Committee Reports- No committee reports
New Business
Trail Maintenance– Linda made a motion to give an emergency repair budget to Kendal that would allow him to complete emergency repairs without the time consuming process of approvals. Motion seconded by John. Motion carried.
SXS Raffle– Don provided an update on ticket sales. Currently we have 345 sold. Don will be booking Sobey’s for sales on weekends if anyone would like to volunteer time to assist with that.
Home Hardware car show– We will be setting up a table for ticket sales at Home Hardware during the car show. Dwayne, Patty and Wade will take care of this day.
Donna let the members know that Sheldon Acott’s father has passed away and recommended we send a card on behalf of the club.
The Meductic club reached out to Donna asking what our club would do in event of forecasted inclement weather the day of our rally. Would we cancel or continue? Our members all voted an unanimous “no we would not cancel” Inclement weather is a chance you take when booking rallies.
