Kendall provided a trail report as follows:
5000- Black rest area requires some brush trimming and signage. We would like to get this area cleaned up prior to posting it as a point of interest on the app
5001- repaired signpost on Phillips Dr at DTI garage. The sign was allegedly damaged during a police pursuit.
DNR closure at Lindsay, work was completed and trail is reopen
Had approximately 12 loads of pit run hauled and leveled some of the larger holes between Red Bridge and the Twin bridges. More work needs to be done on this section but major holes have been taken care of.
AGCON construction took care of large pieces of ledge that were loose and posing a risk. They will also provide us with some pricing on grading for next season
5002- we have 2 bridges that are a concern that will require work or replacement. We will need to determine if a WAWA permit will be required to complete the work. No update on the HUP.
5003- Can not be marked as open without some clarification from Dexter on approval. Will work with Quad NB to clarify if this is a private road or controlled by DTI
We are still looking for volunteers for a trail planning committee.
New Business:
Kendal and Brian attended the regional meeting on October 28th and provided us with an update from the meeting.
Bob Randall has been re-elected as a regional director. Quad will be offering a free access day again this year with the date being Feb 16th . Non permit holders will be required to register for a day pass but there will be no charge for the pass.
There are currently 61356 registered quad/sxs in NB with just under 34,000 of these holding permits.
2027 permits will be the same price as the 2026 permits. 2028 pricing will be set at the AGM in 2027.
